π The Prayer of Jabez π
The prayer of Jabez may be short, but itβs powerful! π₯
Jabezβs name literally means pain β his mother named him that because his birth caused her great suffering. π’
Sometimes, the things we are birthing in the Spirit can bring us great pain too. Many times, we donβt want to push through because itβs hard and it hurts πβ but growth often comes through pain. π±
Jabez became a man of fervent prayer π. He knew he needed Godβs favor and protection over his life.
He asked God to enlarge his territory β not physical land π, but people for the Kingdom. π
β‘οΈ Ask God to increase your territory!
β‘οΈ Claim every life you come in contact with for Jesus! βοΈ
Jabez also knew that without Godβs hand on his life, he would fail. π
We, too, must ask God to hold us, guide us, and strengthen us. π€²
Remember this truth:
β¨ Failure doesnβt cancel Godβs purpose, calling, or plan. β¨
Failure is simply a reset β a moment to say, βHere, God, my life is in Your hands.β β€οΈ
ποΈ Prayer is the key to success in your Christian walk.
You canβt have a strong relationship with God without communication β and thatβs what prayer is: talking with your Heavenly Father. π¬π
So today, pray this over your life and your family: π
π« 4 Key Points from the Prayer of Jabez π«

π 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 (NLT)
9 There was a man named Jabez who was more honorable than any of his brothers. His mother named him Jabez because his birth had been so painful.
10 He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel,
βOh, that you would bless me and expand my territory!
Please be with me in all that I do,
and keep me from all trouble and pain!β
And God granted him his request. π
